Grotta Zinzulusa

Carved by the Adriatic over millennia, Grotta Zinzulusa opens along the coast as a vast natural chamber, formed through the continuous movement of the sea against the limestone cliffs.
Stalactites and stalagmites rise from the cave floor and ceiling, creating vertical formations shaped by slow geological processes rather than human intervention.
Known since antiquity and used as a shelter and place of passage, the grotto still preserves traces of its long history, absorbed into shadowed rock surfaces. Light filters gradually inside, revealing layers of stone, voids and natural formations that emerge in shifting contrast.

Entering the grotto is an immersive encounter, where silence, scale and mineral presence define a space of rare natural grandeur, shaped by patience, erosion and time.
Grotta Zinzulusa can be reached in around 25 minutes by car from Masseria Furnirussi, following the coastal road.
