Through a combination of heli-hiking experiences and guided ATV-supported access outside Banff National Park, guests are transported into remote environments where scale, quiet, and distance reshape perspective.

Preparation for remote terrain begins through Expeditions, Rimrock Banff’s adventure centre, where Pathfinders ensure guests feel confident and informed before departure. Pre-adventure briefings include terrain overview, layering and weather guidance, and expectations for time spent in exposed or remote environments.
Technical equipment and specialized gear are coordinated through experienced partners, while Expeditions provides additional support around comfort, readiness, and personal needs. For items forgotten or newly realized to be essential, the Expeditions retail area offers a curated selection of alpine-ready gear and outdoor necessities.
